Architects and birdwatchers Tormod Amundsen and Elin Taranger has for more then two years been working with bird tourism and destination development in Varanger and Eastern Finnmark, through their architectural office Biotope.

There has been a recording of a new species for Norway made in Vardø, Varanger. A Stejneger’s Scoter was recorded by bird watcher Tor Audun Olsen.
